How You Can Help

Volunteer

We welcome volunteers at any level of participation, from joining our Board to spending an hour helping with a one-time event, and everything in between.
We strive to be a “guilt-free” organization and to find a role for volunteers’ individual interests and talents. Please contact us for the date of our next monthly meeting or more information on specific volunteer opportunities.
We are currently seeking volunteers with expertise in fundraising and grant writing.  We are also seeking those with a flair for organizing to systemize our email list and sell Teosinte’s crafts on line.  While these are specific areas of need, we welcome all interested volunteers.
We have great vision but need your help to make it a reality!

Buy

Need a holiday or birthday gift?  Want to “do good” while looking good?  We have the answer.   Purchase something beautiful and unique that also provides vital income to the Teosinte women’s sewing cooperative and their partners, the “Asociación Maya” women’s weaving cooperative in Guatemala.  Fabric is hand woven and crafts are fair-trade so you can feel good about them.   Look for notices announcing our craft sales throughout the year, for our table at Arlington’s annual Town Day festival or contact us atarlingtonteosinte@gmail.com
